A Day in Silence: My Favorite Routes for Self-Reflection in Ibiza

Hiking, stilling and finding yourself on the magical island

Looking for inner peace, stillness and reconnection with yourself? Then a day of silence in Ibiza is just what you need. In this blog I share my favorite places for a day without distractions - a mini-guide for anyone who feels: I need a break.

Why a day in silence in Ibiza?

Sometimes you don't need words.
Sometimes silence is the most healing answer.

A day in silence - without phones, calls or distractions - is a monthly habit for me. On the spiritual island of Ibiza, where nature is powerful and pure, such a day feels like an inner detox.

What will a silence walk in Ibiza bring you?

- Inner peace
- Creative clarity
- Awareness of your body and breathing
- Connection with nature
- Release of mental turmoil

Whether you're on vacation or living here: Ibiza is the place to come to yourself.

My favorite quiet spots in Ibiza

Below are my most beloved routes and places to walk in silence, meditate, swim or just be - perfect for self-reflection and stillness.

1. Walk from Cala Llentia to the Time & Space Stone Circle.

Silent walk with views of Es Vedrà

Duration: 45 minutes to 1.5 hours
Best time: early morning or sunset

Start at Cala Llentia and follow the path along the coast to the mysterious Stone Circle, also known as "Ibiza's Stonehenge." The energy here is quiet and powerful. Bring a notebook, sit on the cliffs and listen to the sea. A special place for meditation or reflection.

2. Hidden cove: Cala d'en Serra

Solitude between cliffs and clear water

Cala d'en Serra is a secluded cove in the north of Ibiza, reached by a sandy path. In the early morning, the beach is often deserted. I swim here, meditate on a towel and let the silence do its work. Don't forget to bring some water, snacks and protection from the sun.

3. Walk through the forest near San Mateu

Silence among the pine trees, without range

Between San Mateu and Santa Agnès lies a pristine stretch of pine forest. The smell of the trees, the crackling of branches under your feet, and the lack of cell phone coverage make this an ideal place to be tranquil. Sometimes I walk here with no purpose or just sit on a tree stump for an hour.

4. Meditative sitting at Punta Galera

Sunset and natural silence on stone plateaus

Punta Galera is a unique place. The flat rock slabs feel like natural yoga mats. Here you don't have to do anything. Just sit, breathe, and be. The view, the sound of the sea, and the energy of the place often provide deep insights and a sense of coming home.

Tips for your own stilted day in Ibiza

- Put your phone on airplane mode
- Leave earbuds at home and listen to nature
- Take water, something to eat and a notebook with you
- Go alone, or arrange to be together in silence
- Start the day with an intention: what do you want to feel, release or receive?

Additional floor: Sound Healing or Self-Havening

I sometimes end a day in silence with a gentle sound-bath session or a moment of Self-Havening. These methods help calm your nervous system and integrate what you have felt that day.

Would you like to experience this too? I regularly give sound healing sessions in Ibiza and have written an e-book on Self-Havening. Feel free to send me a message if you are interested.
